Parks Mill Circa 1790

Cascades is a sweet and nostalgic place where the sounds of rushing water and the old mill remind us that life is best enjoyed surrounded by family and friends

We are preserving late 18th century technology and doing what we can do to enhance its surrounding natural beauty

Our Parties and Events Include:

Dancing under the party lights in front of the mill
Woodsy interior lodge space with warm surrounding decks
Fire pit lounge overlooking the creek
Dining by the waterfall, or on the banks of the creek
Tables and chairs for up to 120 guests
Lounge by the creek, dine at the waterfall
Huge ceremonial deck overlooking the cascading waters
Park-like lawns on the creek
Friendly, mannered, and highly disciplined staff
Parking for up to 60 cars.

Intimate

$500.00 for up to 4 hours in the Lodge
Dinner parties of fewer than 45 attendees
$500.00 for first 4 hours, inclusive of set up and return, with $100.00 each additional hour.
One Live Fire pit (weather depending)

Self parking, with up to 18 VIP parking spots close to Lodge
Self set up and return to stored position prior to exit.
Bring in your own food and beverage or we can cater at additional charge
* If serving alcohol, please provide an ABC license
*Please provide a security deposit of $300.00

2-Day Wedding

$3,600 for weddings with up to 100 attendees
4 hours on day one for setup, decorating, and rehearsal
Up to 10 hours on wedding day for getting ready, final touches, guest arrivals, ceremony, reception, and wrap-out
Use of 2 beautiful changing rooms
Use of the lodge with seating for up to 75 guests inside and an additional 75 on the porch
Long porch bar for beverage service
Large lawns and decks
Dining by the waterfall, on the lawn, or at the creek
Fire pit lounge area
Dancing under party lights at the historic Parks Mill
All furniture included according to our inventory
Furniture is self-set up and must be returned to its stored position
Parking for up to 60 cars

Wedding day, up to 8 hours inclusive of set up and exit

2 ADA accessible bathrooms
Warming kitchen for light food prep

Wedding Booking Requirements

Signed contract required
50% deposit due upon signing, with the remaining balance due at least 60 days prior to the event
Certificate of insurance required at least 60 days prior to the event
Professional vendors are required to provide proof of additional liability insurance
If serving alcohol, a one-day banquet license from Virginia ABC is required
If serving alcohol, Cascades bartending services are required at an additional cost; alcohol is provided by the client
Cascades hosts will assist with parking and guest arrival and help maintain clean, refreshed spaces throughout the event
